The first-ever AMS graduation ceremony took place in a warm and joyful setting, with AMS partners, staff, students, and their families all gathering to celebrate this special moment.
Achievements After 8 Challenging Weeks
After 8 weeks of hands-on training and passing the MINTRAC skills assessment, the students finally received their well-deserved certificates. This event not only marked their success but also gave everyone a chance to look back on the hard work and commitment they put in.
At the ceremony, Mr Doãn Giang, Deputy Managing Director of San Hà Foods, and Mr Simon Fraser, Country Director for Vietnam and the Philippines at Response Group International, presented the certificates and gifts from AMS.
The graduates gained Australian-standard meat-cutting skills and improved their English, making them ready for work in Australia.
Mr Simon proudly shared: “Your journey proves that the AMS model works. You are pioneers in this project. Your success shows that AMS not only provides skills but also builds connections to help you start a new future abroad.”
Mr Giang also encouraged the students: “You’ve worked hard, but there’s always room to grow. Our standards here are good, but in Australia, there’s more to achieve. Keep pushing yourselves.”
Beyond the certificates, the ceremony was also a chance for students, their families, and AMS staff to share memories, laughter, and excitement for what’s next. Students also received congratulations from AMS partners in Australia, including AMPC and Teys Australia, giving them even more motivation for the journey ahead.
Next Steps in Their Careers
After passing the skills assessment, AMS connected the graduates with Australian employers, helping them start the process of applying for their 482 visas.
One standout student, Xuyên Nguyễn, has already received his visa and begun his new life in Australia. “This is a huge milestone for me,” he shared. “I feel confident thanks to the solid training from AMS.”
Chị Hiệp, another recent graduate, added: “It’s hard to find such a professional training environment in Vietnam. The trainers and staff at AMS were so supportive throughout the course. I’m truly grateful.”
AMS is incredibly proud of these students for their dedication and perseverance. They are proof that the AMS program works.
This is just the beginning of a new journey, and AMS will continue to stand by them in every step ahead.
